The
Tavern League
Strikes Back
WIBA-AM's
Vicki McKenna
is hosting
Regressive
rallies in
beer halls
across the
metro. In
early March, we
asked the owner of
the cleanest bar
& grill on the
East side about the
smoking ban.
Wouldn't the bar
owners have a
counter-strategy?
"It's
coming." is all
he said.
|
|
Zach's
Avenue bar on
the near-East
side hosted a
recent
regressive
round-up.
The
Avenue has
parking lots
on both sides
that access
East
Washington.
Real Americans
were able to
attend a live
broadcast of
Vicki's show without
risking
contact with
actual
residents of
Brenda
Konkel's
precinct.
On
April 28th,
Bennett's
Meadowwood
Country Club,
turned off the
porn and let
Vicki have the
room for a few
hours.
It
was a great
time with a
good
turn-out.
The cigarette
smoke gave
plausible
cover for
fundamentalist
Christians to
not actually
recognize each
other across
the room.
Vicki
seems to be on
a
campaign to
visit a bar in
every area of
Madison.
(Look for Regressive
Dane at future
events.)
Smart money on
next locations
includes The
Farm, Wiggie's,
The Buckeye
Inn, and the
State Bar.
The
Buckeye Inn
may choose to
openly defy
the smoking
ban.
This could
trigger a call
for hundreds
of
freedom-loving
regressives to
occupy the
lot. The
crowd would
continue to
drink, smoke
tobacco, and
refuse to
leave.
Unless anyone
gets lucky,
then they
should take a
shower and
return.
The
Private Club
Option
It's
almost
inevitable
that a bar
will attempt
to continue as
a private
club, just to
evade the
smoking
ban.
This strategy
has insured
that the
citizens
councils of
many southern
states were
able to have a
private snort
in a dry
county.
There
is an
exemption for
private clubs
within local
law.
Here's the
definition
posted on the
web site of
Isthmus, the
local leftist
weekly:

"As
defined in the
ordinance,
“Private
Club” means
an
organization,
whether
incorporated
or not, which
is the owner,
lessee or
occupant of a
building or
portion
thereof used
exclusively
for club
purposes at
all times,
which is
operated
solely for a
recreational,
fraternal,
social,
patriotic,
political,
benevolent or
athletic
purpose but
not for
pecuniary gain
and which only
sells alcohol
beverages
incidental to
its operation.
The affairs
and management
of the private
club are
conducted by a
board of
directors,
executive
committee or
similar body
chosen by the
members at an
annual
meeting. The
private club
has
established
bylaws and/or
a constitution
to govern the
club’s
activities.
The private
club has been
granted an
exemption from
the payment of
federal income
tax as a club
under 26
U.S.C.A.
section 501."
.
De
Jope Bingo Hall is
already pushing for
an exemption.
Eagles, Turners,
Greig Club, VFW, and
American Legion
should be able to
walk through that
loophole. For
now, relax and
breathe easy,
freedom will find a
way. |

Was
Madison
Taxi Driver Punished for
Refusing
Service
to Homosexual Nightclub?
|
|
Details are
still sketchy, but it is
reported that the driver of a
Madison Taxi, refused to
transport two men to a
homosexual-oriented
nightclub. This happened
at the Raddison Hotel on
Madison's West side, in
mid-April, 2005.
The driver
is not accused of completely
refusing service.
|
|
 |
|
|
The driver simply refused to take the men to
the area's largest gay bar Club 5
(crowded, vulgar, leather bar
inside, drink specials nightly), or any
other poofta palace for that matter.
We are told the
driver offered to transport
the two men, both apparently
foreign nationals, to any
non-homosexual bar or
nightclub of their choice.
This is less drastic moral position
than the pharmacists who refuse to
supply morning after pills.
People should not be forced to visit
gay bars as a condition of
employment.
The Raddison
Hotel, 535 Grand Canyon, caved to
the homosexual agenda by revoking
Madison Taxi's preferred status at
their hotel.
Regressive Dane will be
seeking to identify and interview
the taxi driver himself. This
daring act of regression deserves
public recognition.
Something
happened to trigger the dissolution of a business relationship. If you know this
driver, or ARE this driver, please
contact the webmaster.

Liberals
Blocking Feral Cat Control Plan
"Pet
owners gave up their rights to their
cats when they failed to prevent
them from trespassing on other
people's property."
David
Nowak, Ozaukee County Conservation
Congress
Excerpted
from the Milwaukee Journal
Sentinel
"Currently
it is illegal to shoot cats, Al
Phelan of the DNR said before the
meetings. ... Phelan said that some
of the public misunderstood the
proposal as a hunting issue.
|
|
"It's a
control issue for people that
own recreational land and
farms who are being inundated
with feral cats," Phelan
said. "Those cats carry
disease."
Phelan
referred to a boy who was
recently bitten by a feral cat
and had to undergo rabies
treatment because his family
was unable to capture the
animal for testing."
"Mark
Enders, 35, of Madison said he
always thought he had the
right to shoot feral cats.
These aren't
just cats that get loose.
These aren't people's cats.
All of the feral cats I've
seen, you can't just get near
them. I've always thought they
were open game," Enders
said.
